What you will find here, is basically a few links to sites related to Highlander and the Highlander Collectible Card Game, and some information about my HCCG software tools. The software includes a Microsoft Access database of card information, including the original TCG sets, the Missing Link Expansion sets, and the SAEC expansion sets. There are two main tools that the software provides, a deck builder and a game manager for virtual play.
You can now search all cards on-line using our on-line card data.
HCCG Tools is a set of tools for use with the Highlander collectible card game. It includes a deck builder, and a game manager. And for those interested in creating your own cards, there is a small tool for creating card icons.
If you don't already have HCCG Tools installed, you need the Install download. If you already have it installed, you can just unzip the Update package in the directory that you installed it to. The install requires you to un-install previous versions, the update package is so you can avoid that annoyance. Here you can get the latest AutoUpdate.
You may now download the source to the next comming release. It will likely change some before this comming release, but I wanted to make it available to the community. Who knows, maybe somebody will find something I didn't think of. :)
I'm leaving the update package for the time being, but it won't be there for long. Since the AutoUpdate tool has been added, once we get through a couple releases and I know it's working well enough, we'll rely on that for updates. So, if you don't currently have a version of the software, or you have a version old enough to not have the AutoUpdate tool, use the Install pacakge. Otherwise use the AutoUpdate tool.
To use this software, you will need to have the Microsoft.Net Framework 2.0 installed, and possibly also the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC). If you are running an older version of Windows, you may need the Windows Installer 2.0 update. Links to these Microsoft downloads are provided below. After installing the HCCG Tools, if they fail to run they may tell you that you need one of these installed.

Though the original Thunder Castle Games site is long gone, there are still a few places of interest on the web for us aging Highlander CCG fans. Most notably the Missing Link Expansion, and the SAEC Games Expansion which both have taken the responsibility of continuing to create new cards for the game.
The new Highlander the card game official site. That's right, it's back.
The Missing Link Expansion is a group that has produced several sets of virtual cards to continually expand the HCCG card collection. Their cards are completely free, but they have devised a way to keep the collection experience as close to actually finding and buying cards as possible. A certain number of credits are awarded to members each week, with which members can buy randomly generated packs of cards. This allows your collection to grow at a natural pace based on your time and interest invested, and the rarity of each card.
SAEC Games has started creating a few small retail expansion sets that are actual printed cards.
Stealth Dave's Site is one of the few still existing sites where you can get card lists, deck ideas, and some other HCCG information of interest.
